Courtroom lobby number 12. 7 AM. November 21st, 2014.

"Alright," Tim said and got his evidence organized, "I got everything I need to find out what this guy's name is. He's very protective of it. Which means that it must have something to do with the murder. The question now becomes what?" Tim looked back at Jon and Emile, hoping  to hear some advice or analysis from them.

What he got was Jon moping about how they were gonna give him the death penalty and Emile...well...he was Emile so he probably wasn't helping the situation.

"Alright," Tim sighed, "I guess it's all up to me."

courtroom number 12. 7:30 AM. November 21st, 2014

Before anyone could actually say anything, the judge brought down his gavel with a bang.

"Order! Order! Before we continue with this conversations, I would like to start the trial. Because now trial has begun for the case of Jonathan Wheeler. Is everyone ready?"

"The prosecution is ready, your honor." Kyoya answered, looking a bit disheveled.

"Prosecutor, why is their mud around your shirt?! Have some pride!!"

"I really wish your honor, but l couldn't do anything about it. Apparently parts of my house need repairing because somebody here spent too long in cross-examining one specific witness." All eyes turned towards Tim, who sheepishly began ducking under the table to hide his shame.

"Ummmm....right.....well the defense is ready your honor." Tim said still from under the desk. The judge didn't seem to notice Tim's shame.

"Alright. Kyoya, begin your statement."

"Yes, your honor. You see, this is how it appears in my eyes: Jonathon wheeler has committed the crime. I have three pieces of evidence: the first being of course Jon's coat that we learned of from yesterday. The second piece of evidence however is from inside the coat pocket," Kyoya took out the picture of the man and Mr. Fischer with the man giving something. It was brighter.

"I took the liberty of brightening the picture up," Kyoya explained, "but look at what's on the man in black's coat," everyone looked. On it in tiny letters, though noticeable spell J-O-N.

Kyoya snickered, "this proves without a doubt that Jon met with Fischer sometime!!" Loud noises. The judge silenced it.

"The final piece of evidence," Kyoya added, "is an expert witness testimony. He was watching from his window at the time, but didn't want to be bothered so told the detective something different."

Here he comes, Tim thought, The man who probably caused the murder

-------------------------------------------

Like Tim anticipated, the man from yesterday took the stage.

"Witness. Please state your name and occupation." The man continued to stay silent.

"Witness. Your name and occupation-"

"Silence," the man looked at Tim, "I refuse." Everyone looked at him frightfully.

"What?!" Everyone except Emile, "But that's cheating!! You're not allowed to not tell us your name!!" The man sighed.

"You have all the proof," the man answered, "you figure it out. It's not that hard once you figure out The code."

There's that code again

"Either way," the judge was insistent, "you can't just testify without explaining your occupation at least!!"

"Don't tell me what I can or can't do," the man snapped, "I can buy and sell you!!" That finally shut the judge up.

Though he really doesn't understand the danger he was just threatened with.

"Ummmmm....ok," the judge faltered, "the witness will begin his testimony of what he saw."

-------------------------------------------

What I saw

I was standing directly near my window when I heard two gunshots

I saw two men arguing, then the one on the right pulled out a gun

He was quick on the draw, two quick bullets were all it took to kill

-------------------------------------------

Emile: so Tim, do you have any idea on what to say?

Tim: I'm not quite sure. He's being very vague though. But there is one thing here that makes no sense.

-------------------------------------------

cross examination: what I saw

I was standing directly near the window when I heard two gunshots

I saw two men arguing, then the one on the right pulled out a gun

He was quick on the draw, two quick bullets were all it took to kill

There's the contradiction!!

---------------------------------------

"Objection!!" Tim yelled, "witness, you said you only saw two bullets, correct?"

"Yes...there were only two bullets shot-"

"But that's impossible!!" Tim presented the mirror they saw yesterday, "you see, while there was two bullet holes in Mr. Fischer, there were also two bullet holes in the window. Which means," he slammed His hands on the desk, "you didn't see the entire scene!!" Loud conversations from the audience only give stepped on by the judge.

"Order!! Order!! Witness, what do you have to say to this?" The witness remained emotionless.

"Rubbish" he finally said.

"And prosecutor Kyoya?" The judge tried again.

"Rubbish" was his only answer

I didn't really think it was that much rubbish when I pointed it out. Tim thought, but let it slide.

"If you really must know," the witness continued, "after Jon did the deed, he saw me and shot two warning shots at me."

"W-wait...he did WHAT?!" Tim was knocked back in shock, "you're telling me that Jon shot at you?!" Loud commotion from the audience.

"All I'm saying is the truth," the witness said, "I just didn't know it was so important. If you want me to testify about it, then I will." The judge pounced on that opportunity.

"The witness will explain him being shot at. Now!!"

-------------------------------------------

After the murder:

After the murder, Jon noticed I was there

He fired two warning bullets in my direction

I jumped out of the way and hid behind a wall

Sensing the danger had passed, Jon must've left the building as fast as possible.

------------------------------------------

Witness: so how does it feel, Timothy? The feeling of being crushed?

Tim: ummm...I'll tell you later...

Emile: Tim, he did put a lot of details in this testimony. He must've planned for you to figure out the last one.

Tim: yeah, he did spend a lot of time thinking of this one. But he didn't take into account everything. Some things about this story doesn't add up

-------------------------------------------

cross-examination: After the murder

After the murder, Jon noticed I was there

He fired two warning bullets in my direction

I jumped out of the way and hid behind a wall

Sensing the danger had pass, Jon must've left the building as fast as possible

Tim: wait, Jon shouldn't have thought the danger has passed!! There was something there that should've stopped it!!

-------------------------------------------

"Objection!!" Went Tim, "witness, you said the danger has passed. But there was something in your room that made it impossible for him to think that. Specifically this," Tim presented the mannequin sign that divided the room.

"Oh!!" The judge declared, "it's that man we saw yesterday!!"

"Actually no your honor. It's actually a foolish attempt by the defense to forget the real reason we're here. That sign is just used by the brothers to divide their room. Nothing more." Was Kyoya's answer.

"While that is true," Tim responded, "Jon shouldn't have believed the danger had passed!! In fact, he should've fired more bullets then!!"

"Objection!!" Kyoya banged the wall, "...is that the best you've got?" Tim kinda didn't wanna answer that question. But the witness decided to add to that.

"Alright fine," the witness agreed, "Jon shouldn't have run out like he did. But it doesn't matter," the witness banged the stand, "I saw what I saw!! Jonathon Wheeler killed Mr. Fischer!! I've gone into enough detail to at least prove that!!" Commotion started only to be silenced by the judge.

"Order!! Order!! Defense, do you have any objections to that? Has the witness gone into enough detail?"

Dang it, don't ask me!! I have like no clue!! Tim thought...and did the only thing he could think of.

"Hey Emile," Tim was forced to ask, "you got anything." Emile put his finer to his chin like he was thinking about something.

"Ummmmmm...well.....actually...." Emile began, "I don't know how useful this will be, but something's been bothering me ever since he said he went into enough detail."

"...and...?"

"He never really talked about that code. N037. I mean, for someone who said he went into detail and saw the entire murder, he sure has been keen on letting that slide."

"Emile, that is completely....oh wait you're right!!" Tim was a bit annoyed that he didn't notice it before, but now that Emile said it out loud, it made sense.

"Defense!!" The judge persisted, "is there anything you want clarification about?" Tim was smiling.

"Actually yes your honor," Tim replied, "witness, throughout this trial you never really explained what that code N037 means. Why not?" The once proud witness, once hearing the code, seemed to hesitate for a second.

"Ummmm...well..." Tim knew he got something, "that code means nothing actually."

"What?! Yeah right it means nothing!! Why would he use his last breath to spell out N037 if N037 means nothing?!" The witness started getting as mad as Tim was getting.

"If you're really so adamant on telling me N037 means something, why don't you show me proof?! Prove to me that it means something!!" Tim's smile never wavered.

"Sure!!" Tim presented what he believes was Fischer's suicide note, "this note is titled to someone under the name of N037. Basically, N037 has to mean something, especially since it doesn't come up once, but twice!!" The witness finally took a hit, suddenly becoming scared then angry then scared again.

"Why!? Why do you have that?!" He swore, but then regained composure. Tim continued explaining.

"There's a high probability that whoever N037 is is either the killer or important in understanding this case!!" The judge looked at the letter with blatant curiosity.

"Why, this looks like something from a suicide note!!" The judge remarked.

"I know," Tim answered, "I don't know what exactly happened, but I do know that this N037 might be able to shed some light on it."

"Hmph," the witness seemed to regain his composure, "you think one tiny note proves I'm N037? If you wanna accuse me of killing Fischer, just tell me."

"You killed Fischer." Tim accused. The witness's smile unnerved Tim though.

"Alright. Fair," the witness exclaimed, "only one problem with your accusation." Tim didn't like the  sound of that.

"Well....easily enough....how could I be the one who killed Fischer when I didn't even have a gun to kill him with?"
Ok we're finishing this today!! Expect rapid fire just finish today cuz I'm getting something done!! Next part is most likely gonna be the last one so hope for the best!!...god these are hard to write...I have no idea how people do it. Also finally Emile proves himself. He does something smart!!
